(UTV | COLOMBO) – An individual who had swallowed 13 packets of narcotics has passed away.
Police said the individual had passed away upon admission to the Colombo South Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile an Indian national staying at a lodge on Sea Street, Pettah has suddenly passed away.
While a post-mortem examination is due to be conducted today, Police said a PCR test will also be carried out on the individuals remains.
