UTV | COLOMBO – A final decision pertaining to reopening schools will be announced today.
Secretary of the State Ministry of Education Ranjith Chandrasekera speaking to UTV said recommendations pertaining to the decision was submitted by the Ministry of Health yesterday.
The Secretary said the recommendations must be examined and discussed with the Minister of Education.
Chandrasekera said a final decision will be reached today after discussions.
He said an announcement whether schools, that were closed for the past week, will reopen on Monday will be made today.
