(UTV | COLOMBO) – The death toll owing to the inclement weather experienced over the island has increased to 26.
The Disaster Management Centre said 230,185 persons of 65,580 families have been affected by the adverse weather.
39 houses have been destroyed while 1,390 houses have been damaged due to weather related incidents.
Meanwhile the landslide warnings issued in 11 districts have ben extended till 4pm today.
