The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has received nearly 100 complaints against specialist neurosurgeon Dr. Maheshi Wijeratne over alleged financial misconduct involving external surgical equipment.
Currently attached to Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, Dr. Wijeratne was arrested on 17 June along with two others and remains in remand until August 15.
