Another 5 COVID-19 Navy sailors discharged

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another five Navy personnel, who contracted COVID-19, have recovered and have been discharged.

Accordingly, nine Navy personnel have been discharged during the past 24 hours.

Six Navy sailors were being treated at the Colombo East Base Hospital, two at the Navy General Hospital and one other at the Homagama Base Hospital.

366 Navy personnel who tested positive for COVID-19 have accordingly thus far been discharged after making complete recoveries.

The Navy sailors will remain in quarantine for another 14 days on health advice.
