Another 24 COVID-19 patients detected

(UTV | COVID-19) – Twenty- four more individuals infected with COVID- 19 were detected in Sri Lanka today (20), the Epidemiology Unit of the Health Ministry stated.

All 24 patients are reported from the Bandaranayakepura in Colombo 12.

Accordingly, the total count of confirmed COVID-19 patients in the country has risen to 295.

Ninety-six patients, including 95 Sri Lankans and 1 Chinese woman, have completely recovered and have been discharged from hospital, while 7 deaths due to the Virus have been reported so far in Sri Lanka.
