(UTV | COLOMBO) – Within 24-hour period the police had arrested 799 persons who had violated the curfew orders. The police had also taken into their custody 206 vehicles.
Since the curfew was imposed from 20th of March to 6.00 am 11th May the police have arrested 51,552 persons who had violated the curfew regulations and 13,350 vehicles had also been taken into custody.
