Lankan Naval ships to reach India today [VIDEO]

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Navy’s SLNS Sagara and SLNS Suranimala that left the Port of Colombo for India on Saturday (06), on a on a four-day goodwill visit which includes training exercises, are scheduled to reach Cochin Harbour in India, today (08).

SLNS Sagara, a crew of about 200 Officers and Sailors on board, is commanded by Captain (C) Janaka Nissanka and SLNS Suranimala having a crew of about 120, is commanded by Captain (ASW) Chandima Silva.

On completion of their tour successfully, the visiting Sri Lankan Naval ships are scheduled to set sail from Cochin Harbour for Sri Lanka on 11 October.
