(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government may look into the possibility of introducing laws to ban minors using the Facebook social media platform.

Firm decisions will be taken with regard to social media platforms, specifically Facebook to stop the damage being caused by them to children, the Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs Chandrani Bandara said.

Bandara made these remarks addressing a ceremony held at Temple Trees on Monday (01) to mark World Children’s Day.
