(UTV|COLOMBO) Supplementary Medical Services Trade Unions says that all hospitals in the Uva Province engaged in 24-hour strike action today (04) from 7.00 am, protesting against the payment of overtime allowance.
Around 2000 nurses and other professionals supplementary to medicine will participate in the strike, the Trade Unions said.
