Railway Strike: Special buses provided, Government to bear the costs for the service

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A special bus services have been provided due to the on-going strike of the Railway Trade Unions, the Finance Ministry said adding that the Government would bear the costs incurred by the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) for providing the special bus service.

Several Railway Trade Unions including Drivers and Guards have launched a lightning strike at 3.00 PM on Wednesday (08) bringing train services to a halt.
