Wasim Thajudeen Murder Case: Former Narahenpita OIC Bailed out

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Former Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Narahenpita Police Sumith Perera who was arrested over alleged connections to the murder of Wasim Thajudeen has been released on bail following a High Court order today (16th Thursday).

He was released on Rs. 100,000 cash bail and Rs. 1 million surety bails. He is banned from foreign travel and was ordered to report to the CID once a month.
