Blood Transfusion Center in Tangalle hospital opened

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Blood Transfusion Center in the Tangalle Base hospital established with Netherland assistance was opened by the Minister of Health, Nutrition and Indigenous Medicine Dr. Rajitha Senarathne on Tuesday (14th Feb.).

Netherland is providing assistance to establish 19 blood transfusion centers in the country at a cost of USD 28 million.  The center in Tangalle hospital is the seventh.
