Thai Prime Minister will visit Sri Lanka on 12 and 13 July

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prime Minister of Thailand, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha will arrive in the island on 12 July on a two-day official visit.

He will meet President Maithripala Sirisena on 12 July and the President will host him a dinner at President’s House on the same day.

On the following day, the visiting Prime Minister will have a breakfast meeting with his Sri Lankan counterpart Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees. Later, he will leave for Kandy and will visit Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden.

In the evening, Mr. Chan-o-cha will visit the Temple of the sacred Tooth Relic, Thai Gallery of International Buddhist Museum, and call on the Mahanayaka Theras of the Malwatte and Asgiriya chapters.

He is scheduled to leave the country on the Friday evening (13).
