Suspects arrested over endangered leopard killing released on bail

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The ten suspects who were arrested for being involved in the killing of an endangered leopard in Kilinochchi were released on bail by the Kilinochchi Magistrate today (05).

The suspects were arrested after reviewing videos and pictures which went viral in social media.

A group of villagers captured and brutally killed an endangered leopard after it had reportedly attacked and injured nearly 10 people at Ambakulam, Kilinochchi on 21 June.
