President’s former Chief of Staff and former STC Chairman further remanded

(UTV|COLOMBO) – A bail application filed by President Maithripala Sirisena’s former Chief of Staff I. H. K. Mahanama and former State Timber Corporation (STC) Chairman P. Dissanayaka was rejected, and ordered to be further remanded till 10 July by Colombo Magistrate’s Court.

Mahanama and Dissanayake were arrested while accepting the bribe of Rs. 20 million from an Indian businessman.
