Postal strike: Minister assures solutions tomorrow, Massive protest in Colombo today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Government will provide solutions to the issues faced by postal workers by tomorrow (26), A. H. M. Haleem assured.

“Even though the on-going strike was launched based on a circular issued during the term of the previous Administration, the present Administrations will resolve all issues and ensure the smooth operation of the postal service in the country,” the Minister said during an event in Kandy.

Meanwhile, the Joint Postal Trade Union Front announced that a massive protest demonstration will be held today (25) in Colombo with the participation of twenty-five other trade union members.
