(UTV|COLOMBO) – Prevailing windy condition is expected to continue over the island and in the sea areas around the island in next few days.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Sabaragamuwa, Central provinces and in Galle and Mathara districts, fairly heavy falls about 75 mm can be expected at some places.
Several spells of showers will occur in Western and North-Western provinces and in Hambanthota district.
Strong gusty winds up to 60 kmph can be expected over the island particularly in Western, Southern, Central, Northern, North-central and North-western provinces and Monaragala district.
