Private bus owners unions strike at midnight today

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Private bus owners unions are expected to launch a strike action at midnight on Wednesday (16) in opposition of the Government’s proposed bus fare revision, claiming bus fares are not line with the recent rise in fuel prices.

The Lanka Private Bus Owners Association (LPBO) and All Island Private Bus Owners Federation said they will be supporting the strike.
