(UTV|COLOMBO) – The United National Party (UNP) is expected to decide the new Chairman and the General Secretary of the party on Wednesday (25), and to appoint a new group of Office Bearers by Thursday (26).
Accordingly, the UNP Politburo Committee is to meet again at 5.00 PM this evening to discuss the party portfolios further.
UNP Parliamentarians Mangala Samaraweera, Ranjith Madduma Bandara, Eran Wickremaratne, Harin Fernando, Nalin Bandara, Navin Dissanayake, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, J. C. Alawathuwala, Ruwan Wijewardane, Ajith Perera, Ravi Karunanayake and Sajith Premadasa are part of the Politburo Committee.
The UNP Politburo Committee convened under the patronage of Party Leader Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at Temple Trees on Tuesday (24).
