Nine election-related complains so far – Police

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Police Headquarters says that so far nine complaints have been received regarding the forthcoming Local Government Election.

According to the Police Spokesman, SP Ruwan Gunasekara these complaints were recorded between 9th December and 6.00 AM this morning (21).

Mr. Gunasekara added that incidents of assaults, threatening, stealing a nominations list, damages caused to posters and cut-outs and the distribution of goods are among the complaints received.
