UTV | COLOMBO – One of the robbers who had attempted to rob a state bank in Ahangama was hospitalized after he was shot at by a security officer of the bank.
This afternoon (19) 2 persons wearing full-face helmets had attempted to rob money from the bank after entering forcefully and then a security officer had opened fire at them.
Then the robbers had attempted to flee and one of the robbers had collapsed nearby the bank with gunshot injuries.
The suspect is now receiving treatment at Karapitiya Teaching Hospital.
