UTV | COLOMBO – Police say 2 persons arrested in Pitipana and Meetiyagoda with firearms.
The suspect who was arrested in Pitipana had 3 firearms, 34 live ammunition and a magazine in his possession.
The 43-year-old suspect was a former soldier.
Meanwhile, another person was arrested in Meetiyagoda with a locally made gun and 5 bullets.
The 32-year-old suspect is a resident of Batapola.
