MP Sriyani Wijewickrama appointed State Minister

UTV | COLOMBO – United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Digamadulla Parliamentarian (MP) Sriyani Wijewickrama has been appointed the State Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government.

The Attorney-at-Law who formerly represented the Joint Opposition (JO) took oath before the President this morning.

State Minister Wijewickrama last week pledged support to President Maithripala Sirisena. She pledged her allegiance to work towards the government’s initiatives for development.
