Cabinet decided on Minimum Qualification for study medicine

(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Cabinet of Ministers have agreed to prescribe the Minimum Qualification as two credit passes and one simple pass in GCE (A/L) exam in one sitting for subjects Chemistry, Physics and Biology to study in medicine in a university if Sri Lanka.

These standards were approved by the Medical Council and University Grants Commission. It was also decided to publish above matter in gazette as regulations under Medical Ordnance.
