President leaves for South Korea

UTV|COLOMBO – President Maithripala Sirisena has left the island on a 3-day visit to South Korea this afternoon (27).

He is visiting there on an invitation extended by the South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

The visit takes place in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and South Korea.

Agreements on economic cooperation, development cooperation, and cultural cooperation, as well as MoUs on investment cooperation and the Employment Permit System are to be signed between the two governments during the visit.
