(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A top Policeman who arrested on Saturday (15) for assisting a suspect in the case over the murder of schoolgirl Sivaloganathan Vithya to flee, was ordered to be remanded on Sunday (16).
The Kayts Acting Magistrate ordered Senior DIG Lalith Jayasinghe, who was arrested by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), to be remanded till July 25.
