Financial assistance from Kuwait Government to Sri Lanka

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Government of Kuwait has decided to extend financial assistance to Sri Lanka promoting the ties between the two countries.

Accordingly, the Government of Kuwait will provide assistance to several projects in Sri Lanka including promoting the Mushroom Cultivation Enterprise, providing school bags and stationeries to most needed children in war affected areas in the North and setting up a four-storied building to East Ceylon Arabic College in Addalaichenai.

Sri Lanka will be granted USD 34,589 through World Vision Organisation to promote the Mushroom Cultivation as well as to provide school bags and stationeries children in the North. In addition, USD 372,000 will be provided to set up the four storied building to East Ceylon Arabic College in Addalaichenai.
