US naval ship ‘Hopper’ arrives at the Port of Colombo

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Making a four day official visit, the US Naval Ship ‘Hopper’ arrived to Sri Lanka on Thursday (19th January).

According to navy media sources the ship was accorded a traditional welcome by the Sri Lanka Navy upon her arrival at the Port of Colombo.

The Arleigh Class guided missile destroyer will leave the island on Monday (23rd) while its crew is scheduled to take part in a number of programs organized by their Sri Lankan counterparts during their stay here.
