(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Walking on railway tracks has been banned from today following a recent accident.
The Sri Lanka Railway Department said that walking on railway tracks has been banned under the law.
The ban comes after two young boys were killed while taking a selfie photograph along a railway track in Colombo recently.
