(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) will launch a 24-hour island-wide token strike on Monday (22) based on 5 demands including the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM) issue.
According to the GMOA, the strike action will commence at 8.00 AM. However, the Emergency Services, Maternity Hospitals, Children Hospitals, Cancer Hospitals, Tri-Forces Hospitals and the Renal Treatment Units would be free from the strike.
