Petroleum Trade Unions threaten to strike without a prior notice

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – State-run Petroleum Trade Unions stated that they will launch an unannounced island-wide strike, if their demands were not met by May 22.

The Trade Unions have warned of strike action for the second time over three demands including to protest the proposed deal with India to jointly operate a strategic oil facility in Trincomalee.
