NCP Governor rejects JO affidavits against Chief Minister

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Governor of the North-Central Province (NCP) P.B. Dissanayake has rejected affidavits submitted against NCP Chief Minister Peshala Jayarathna.

A group of 17 United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) NCP members linked to the Joint Opposition (JO) submitted the affidavits.

The 17 UPFA members called for a new Chief Minister to be appointed. However the Governor rejected the affidavits.
