(UTV | COLOMBO) – A Sri Lankan delegation has left for the United States to attend the 2022 International Monetary Fund-World Bank Group Annual Meeting in Washington.

The IMF-World Bank Annual Meeting is scheduled to get underway tomorrow in Washington.

The meeting will be worked-off until the 16th of October.

Officials are meeting in Washington amidst the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, inflation, a weakened Chinese economy, and climate change.
