(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology predicts a few showers in the Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.
The Met Department said showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night.
Fairly heavy showers above 75 mm can be expected at some places in the North-central, Central, Uva and Eastern provinces.
Meanwhile, the general public has been requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
