Rob Zombie’s “Munsters” going to Netflix

(UTV | AMERICA) – Following last week’s release of the trailer, director Rob Zombie has taken to Instagram to confirm his “The Munsters” movie remake will be headed to Netflix this Fall.

A Universal Home Entertainment production, the original plan was to premiere the film on the studio’s Peacock streaming service. Back in May though, Bloody Disgusting first reported that it had been sold off to Netflix and now Zombie himself has finally confirmed the project’s home.

The film stars Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Dan Roebuck as Grandpa Munster, Jorge Garcia, Dee Wallace, Sylvester McCoy, Richard Brake and Cassandra Peterson.

“The Munsters” release will concide with that of Tim Burton’s “The Addams Family”-inspired series “Wednesday” on the service this Fall.
