Fourty three thousand MT Diesel reaches Sri Lanka

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Ministry of Energy says that a ship carrying 43,000 metric tons of Diesel reached the island this morning (16).

The Ministry also stated that its samples are currently being tested.

The Ministry of Power and Energy also mentioned that another ship carrying 40,000 metric tons of diesel is scheduled to arrive in the island tonight.

Meanwhile, it was observed that protests and unrest near the gas stations have been growing, while the queues have been getting longer.
