(UTV | COLOMBO) – Lanka IOC has decided to limit dispensing fuel based on the type of vehicle.
Accordingly, the maximum limit will be Rs. 2,000 for motorcycles, Rs. 3,000 for three wheelers and Rs. 8,000 for cars, vans and jeeps with effect from today.
However, this does not apply to buses, lorries or other commercial vehicles.
The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had also imposed these fuel restrictions with effect from the 5th of this month.
