Drug shortage in private hospitals

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Federation of Private Hospitals and Retirement Homes has sent a letter to the Private Health Regulatory Board regarding drug shortages in private hospitals.

They point out that there is a shortage of 76 essential medicines in private hospitals.

The conference also points out that there is a shortage of many medical equipment.

Therefore, they demand the Director General of Health Services to provide medicines and medical equipment as soon as possible, as well as any other raw materials.
