Ranbir Kapoor to start shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ by end of April

(UTV | INDIA) – Ranbir Kapoor, who was busy promoting his late father Rishi Kapoor’s last film, ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, is planning to start shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ by the end of the month.

According to a report, a chunk of the gangster family drama will be shot in Mumbai. The director has had multiple conversations with his production team regarding the locking of venues across Mumbai. As a major portion of the film will be shot outdoors, the makers are initiating the process of procuring permissions.

The report also added that Ranbir has yet to shoot some crucial scenes for his film with Luv Ranjan. So the actor will be seen juggling the two projects in the last week of April, before giving his undivided attention to Vanga’s movie from the first week of May.

‘Animal’ also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol in lead roles. The filmmaker will reportedly shoot Anil’s scenes over the first 15 days of the schedule.

Ranbir’s next with Luv Ranjan also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. The makers have also roped in Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.

Apart from this, Ranbir also has Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ co-starring his ladylove Alia Bhatt in the lead role. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy. It is slated to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022.
