(UTV | COLOMBO) – Power cuts will continue across the island today as well.
Accordingly, a three-hour-and-45-minute power cut will be imposed in areas A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, and L, with a two-hour-and-30-minute power cut between 8 am and 6 pm and a one-hour-and-15-minute power cut between 6 pm and 11 pm.
The Ceylon Electricity Board said a three-hour power cut will be imposed in areas P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, and W, with a two-hour power cut between 9 am and 5 pm and a one-hour power cut between 5 pm and 9 pm.
Power cuts are being imposed due to the lack of fuel stocks to generate electricity.
