(UTV | COLOMBO) – By the arrival of a Chinese team of experts to Sri Lanka to carry out maintenance on a frigate gifted by China to Sri Lanka, type 053H2G a year and a half ago, speculation grew over its technical and operational errors.
Some analysts and activists expressed their fear that accepting the ship as it is, might incur indispensable maintenance costs for Sri Lanka, stressing that it should not accept anything suspicious.
