CEB trade unions prepare for another struggle

(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Oil, Ports and Electricity Trade Union Alliance states that in the future, all trade unions representing various sectors will go on a joint strike against the transfer of national resources to foreign companies.

Convener of the Ceylon Electricity Board Joint Trade Union Alliance Ranjan Jayalal stated the above while addressing a media briefing after a discussion with other trade unions yesterday afternoon.

Leaders of trade unions representing the Ceylon Electricity Board, the Ports Authority, the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board as well as the Teachers ‘and Principals’ Joint Trade Union Alliance also participated in the discussion held yesterday afternoon.
