Sri Lanka to make vaccination card mandatory?

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella stated that a study is being carried out regarding making the Covid vaccination card mandatory when entering public places.

Meanwhile, Canadian High Commissioner David McKinnon has stated that the vaccination card is mandatory when entering public places in Canada.

During a meeting with Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella yesterday, he had stated that the measures were taken to protect from the pandemic and to prevent the virus from spreading to other people.

It has been stated that the decision to administer the booster vaccine dose is a very positive step, and it will further have a positive effect if all age groups are vaccinated in this manner.

Speaking at the meeting, the Health Minister stated that a study is being carried out on the implementation of making the vaccination card mandatory at public places in Sri Lanka as well.
