Sony Sets Two Marvel Films For 2023

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Sony Pictures has announced it intends to release two more Marvel movies in 2023.

The two untitled films will supposedly take place in the same continuity as “Venom” and “Morbius” – a cinematic universe formerly known as Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC) but more recently rebranded as Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU).

The projects are set for June 23rd, 2023 and October 6th, 2023 and will join the already announced “Kraven the Hunter” movie set for January 13th, 2023.

Previously Sony has indicated it has both S.J. Clarkson’s “Madame Webb” and the Marc Guggenheim-penned “Jackpot” film in development, while the recent stellar box-office success of “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” is likely to see Sony move forward on the third film in that series sooner rather than later.
