3,152 unreported COVID cases from last nine days added to Sri Lanka’s caseload

(UTV | COLOMBO) – Another 3,152 coronavirus cases have been added to Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 caseload.

The Ministry of Health said the cases were reported between the 6th and the 14th of September but were not added to the national tally during the past nine days.

Accordingly, the number of COVID-19 cases confirmed in Sri Lanka has risen to 494,109.

55,288 coronavirus infected individuals are currently receiving treatment at home or at various facilities across the country.

Meanwhile, 11,605 persons have recovered from COVID-19 and have been discharged from hospitals during the past 24 hours, raising the number of recoveries in the country to 427,254.

Meanwhile, yesterday, another 136 coronavirus related fatalities were confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the death toll to 11,567.
