(UTV | COLOMBO) – Tickets for “No Time to Die,” Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing in the role of James Bond, have gone on sale along with new details about the screenings on offer for the film’s release.
Approximately 40 minutes of the near three-hour feature was shot in IMAX using the large format exhibitor’s 15/70mm cameras – the first time a Bond film has been shot in IMAX.
“No Time to Die” will also be shown in 3D and RealD, the first film in the franchise to be released in that format, and in the 270-degree ScreenX / 4DX exhibition formats.
Cary Joji Fukunaga directs the film in which Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter (Jeffrey Wright) from the CIA turns up asking for help.
The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Ana de Armas, Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Naomie Harris, and Billy Magnussen star in the movie which hits the UK on September 30th, the US on October 8th and Australia on November 11th.
