(UTV | COLOMBO) – The Sri Lanka Navy has arrested four suspects with Crystal Methamphetamine worth over Rs.79 million in Talaimannar.
An operation was conducted by the Navy in the sea area of Urumalai, Talaimannar yesterday that led to the discovery of 9kg and 914g of Ice prepared to be smuggled into the country.
A vessel was also seized by the Navy.
The Crystal Methamphetamine was concealed in 10 parcels.
The suspects between the ages of 28 and 37, residents of Urumalai, have been handed over to the Mannar Police for legal action.
