(UTV | COLOMBO) – A special vaccination programme will be launched in the Western Province from today for those above 60 years of age who are yet to receive a vaccine against the coronavirus.
The information of relevant individuals has been gathered by the National Operation Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak.
Steps have been taken to inform such individuals of the vaccination date, vaccination centre and the time allocated for the vaccination via a text message.
Accordingly, the vaccination programme in the Colombo District will be implemented today, tomorrow and on Friday at the Army Hospital in Narahenpita, today, tomorrow and on the 14th at the Gampaha District General Hospital and tomorrow at the Kalutara District General Hospital.
Any individual above 60 years of age in the Western Province who has not been vaccinated and is yet to provide information or seeks to obtain further information can contact 1906.
