Probe into alleged sale of 5-day-old infant

(UTV | JAFFNA) – The Police have commenced an investigation into the alleged sale of a 5-day-old newborn baby.

The investigation has initiate following the notification from the Mandigai Hospital in Nelliady.

However, preliminary investigations have revealed that the baby was given to the care of mother’s sister, as the child is born out of wedlock.
